I had my mom get Smile lower blepharoplasty around the end of May, and quite a bit of time has already passed haha. At first, because it was surgery under her eyes, she was worried swelling or scar marks would last a long time. But now, there is barely any sign of the surgery, and she is living normally as usual. I see her often up close too, but now you cannot really tell what she had done unless you deliberately look for it haha. Seeing that my mom is doing better than expected has put my mind at ease too haha. I am thinking of arranging something for my dad's eye area soon as well. Since my mom had it first and we were able to watch the process, I think I will be less nervous with my dad. Anyone looking into lower blepharoplasty for their parents should definitely accompany them to consultations. Rather than becoming overly impatient based only on the early appearance, it seems best to watch together how it settles over time!
