Nose Surgery Reviews

I had revision rhinoplasty because of a long, low, crooked nose… One month with costal cartilage

I think having revision rhinoplasty was truly the right choice. It has been about one month since my revision rhinoplasty, and lately I compare it with my old nose every time I look in the mirror, lol. I originally had a long nose and a relatively low nasal bridge, and my nose was slightly crooked, which was quietly stressful even from the front. After my first surgery, the area where the silicone was removed became depressed and the autologous dermis was absorbed, making the middle of my nasal bridge look as if it had collapsed. That left only the nasal tip looking relatively prominent. My nose was already long, but it also began to look even longer. The crooked appearance from the front kept bothering me too, so this time I wanted to improve not only the height, but also the depressed nasal bridge, crooked area, and long-nose appearance together. So I underwent revision surgery using costal cartilage. Since it was a revision, I was really worried before surgery. Now that about a month has passed, the profile is what I am most satisfied with. As the depressed middle nasal bridge connects naturally, my nose looks less long than before, and the impression of the tip drooping downward has decreased, so the overall line looks much more refined. The crooked nose is also less bothersome from the front than before. It has only been a month, so there is still swelling and it has not settled completely, but the stress of seeing only my nose whenever I take photos has decreased a little, lol. It is still early to judge the entire result, but so far I definitely feel that it was right to do it again. I used to worry about several things: a long nose, low nasal bridge, and crooked nose. Now I am much less stressed about my nose when I look in the mirror. I am curious how it will change further once more swelling goes down and even the tip settles.
