Nose Surgery Reviews

Once my bulbous nose was refined, my entire nose looked different

My nose did not have a problem in just one area. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the bridge, had a dorsal hump, and wanted to refine it overall, but what bothered me most was the tip... My blunt, rounded tip made my nose look bigger in photos than it actually was. A pretty side profile matters, but getting rid of the bulbous-nose look from the front was really important. I had it done by Dr. Jeong Yeong-hun at [Clinic A], with silicone for the bridge, septal cartilage for dorsal-hump and bulbous-tip correction, and columella elevation. From the start, I said I wanted a naturally glamorous look rather than a nose that was only natural! Now, as the previously bulky tip has become slimmer, even the bridge looks more refined. It is not simply that the bulbous nose became smaller; it feels closer to the proportions of my entire nose becoming balanced. From the side, the contour where the hump was is gone, and the line from the bridge to the tip slopes smoothly. Since the columella is also higher than before, the tip shape looks much more defined. But it is not an excessively pointy nose, so this level is just right. From the front, the bulbous nose is improved; from the side, the hump and overall line; and from a three-quarter view, the tip shape. Each angle shows a subtle difference from before, so it is satisfying to look at... At first, the tip was my biggest source of stress, so I thought I would keep looking only at that. Now I like the overall balance more than any one feature. The naturally glamorous nose I wanted was oddly difficult to explain in words, but when I saw the result, I thought, “Ah, yes—this is exactly what I wanted.”
