I was told I would have under-eye hollowing and was recommended fat grafting, so unexpectedly I paid an additional 130 on the same day and went ahead with it. But it is hollow as though I never had fat grafting at all. It has been six weeks since surgery, and I have absolutely no idea where or how the fat was grafted; there is no effect whatsoever. I suffered emotionally for a month, and I would never get a second fat grafting procedure even if it killed me. Even if a second procedure is sometimes needed, can the first fat grafting really shrink away this much and become meaningless? I quit both alcohol and smoking and stayed home for a month so the graft would take well, but it was meaningless. The clinic says to wait up to six months, but since I cannot do anything right now, I suppose I can just live like this for six months or a year. The question is whether it will end with the fat grafting being no different from not having had it at all, or whether, after six months or whenever time passes, even a tiny trace of the grafted fat will appear. For those who had under-eye fat repositioning plus fat grafting, does the area fill out more as time goes by? Or if it becomes hollow after a month, is it simply hollow for good?
