Eye Surgery Reviews

One month after incisional double-eyelid revision and upper canthoplasty

I had double-eyelid surgery once in the past, but over time the crease became progressively lower, so I had double-eyelid surgery again this time. My first surgery was also an out-line crease, and since I personally like that eye shape, I clearly said during consultations that I wanted an out-line crease again. The doctors I consulted were slightly concerned, but my existing crease was also an out-line, so it was OK. After consulting at several clinics, I ultimately had surgery at [Clinic A]. My existing crease had lowered and the inner part of my eyes looked a little closed-off, so we firmly decided on an incision plus upper canthoplasty. It has now been one month. Right after surgery there was naturally swelling, so the crease looked quite pronounced and my eyes were swollen too, but as the swelling went down, the crease gradually settled lower and looked more natural. Perhaps because I also had upper canthoplasty, the inner corners look less closed-off than before, and the double-eyelid crease has formed with the out-line feel I wanted, so I am satisfied. Since I have always liked out-line creases, what I like most is that my eyes clearly look more defined than before.
