One-month review since deciding on rhinoplasty ✨ 1. Why I decided on surgery I had always been concerned about my bulbous nose and short nose. My nasal bridge was not especially low, but I was bothered by how round and wide my nasal tip looked. Even in photos, I felt like my nose was the first thing that stood out. In any case, rhinoplasty itself is a major decision, so I had many worries, but after much deliberation, I decided to have surgery. 2. The nose I wanted More than anything, I wanted a natural look that still looked like my own nose. Rather than a nose that was overly high and glamorous, I wanted one that suited my original face well while naturally improving only areas such as my bulbous and short nose. 3. When looking into clinics I did a great deal of research. I was very worried because I had not consulted at other clinics, but I did not have time to go around for consultations... I looked up nearly all of Dr. Lee Woo-yeon's surgical reviews and videos, and chose him because the style he pursues seemed to align well with what I wanted. During the consultation, I could also tell that he considered naturalness important, which gave me more confidence. I also had expectations because the Summitco surgical method was said to cause less drooping of the nasal tip! 4. After surgery The pain was not as severe as I expected, and above all, the bruising and swelling were surprisingly mild. Even people around me were surprised by how little swelling I had. I bought ten days' worth of medication for bruising, but I barely bruised at all, so I ultimately did not take any. I did not feel extremely swollen even when the splint was removed, but after about a month, it seems that most of the major swelling has definitely gone down. Above all, what I am most satisfied with now is how natural it looks. From the side, the change from before surgery is clear, but from the front, it does not look overly obvious~~! People around me also say it turned out very well, which makes me even more satisfied. I had many concerns before surgery, but now I think I did well to have it. It has only been one month, and I have been told that more residual swelling may go down, so I am also looking forward to seeing how my nose settles in.
