After surgery for a hump nose + nasal tip using donor rib cartilage, a step-off developed between the nasal tip and hump area. I received a consultation because I only wanted to fill that step-off. They introduced many surgical methods; the first was using silicone on the nasal bridge. I had quite a strong aversion to silicone, but they said silicone was the best compared with other materials and recommended it. They said they could shave down more of the hump to place silicone, and that the nose is crooked...
