After constantly reading reviews of philtrum reduction, I wanted it so badly. I heard this place was known for philtrum and nose procedures, so I read every post-surgery review in the café. I thought, what is the point of just deliberating at home, so I went clinic-shopping, liked it, and had surgery. At first, there was a bit of a wait because it was a one-doctor clinic, but from the consultation through the care, the doctor personally saw me, so that was actually better. I had heard that philtrum reduction and nose surgery absolutely had to be done together, so that concerned me the most. But when I went, they said my nose was not one that would spread and that my nasolabial angle was already fairly good, so they recommended reducing only the philtrum. I liked that they were clear about what was and was not possible. They showed me all the before-and-after photos, took a CT scan, checked my philtrum length, and told me how far they could go. After the consultation, I felt there was no need to deliberate further, so I even scheduled the surgery date before leaving, haha. They said they would minimize the incision, which also eased my concerns. Once the swelling went down, the scar was not visible. For a few days after surgery, I felt uncomfortable and had a foreign-body sensation in the nose and philtrum area, as if a stick had been inserted there. It was severe at first, but it has gotten much better now. Once the major swelling went down, it was just slightly swollen, and my long philtrum clearly looked shorter. My profile also became very refined, so I am satisfied.
