Sway breast surgery six-month review 🩵

It has already been six months since surgery. In the beginning, I kept paying attention to swelling, feel, and sensation, but after about six months, I now simply go about daily life without being especially conscious that I had surgery. Compared with months 1–2, both the shape and feel have definitely become much more natural, and everything seems to have settled well overall, so I will share my six-month progress!

📌 Changes in shape The overall shape now seems to have settled naturally, like natural breasts. I originally wanted a natural shape rather than an overly dramatic look, and Dr. Park at Sway also tends to pursue understated naturalness, so I think it was done well for my body type. The upper-pole fullness that concerned me most at first improved noticeably from around month 4. It still feels as though it is gradually dropping and settling, and it looks much more natural from both the side and the front. At first I wondered when all the upper-pole fullness would go down, but it really has continued changing little by little with time.

📌 Feel / sensation The feel has also definitely become much softer compared with the beginning. At first it felt firm and tight, but now the tissue has relaxed considerably and movement has become natural. Personally, sensation was another thing that quietly worried me. There was almost no sensation around my nipples, so I was a little anxious about when it would return, but recently I can feel sensation gradually returning around the left side first. The right side also feels as if it is gradually returning, and since there is not a complete lack of change, I am now waiting without much worry.

📌 Scar care At my six-month hospital visit, I also received scar laser treatment once. Afterwards, the redness seemed calmer than before. The hospital advised that applying scar ointment as well from about a week later would help recovery, so I have been applying it consistently. Honestly, after six months, scar care is probably what I pay the most attention to now haha.

📌 Exercise / massage / daily life I was told I can now exercise and get massages. I tried a massage once around month 5, but the feeling of pressure on my breasts still felt a bit unfamiliar and uncomfortable. It did not hurt, but I kept wondering whether it was really okay to let them be pressed on yet, lol. So I plan to wait a little longer before getting massages comfortably. Exercise is possible too, but I am still focusing on lower-body workouts rather than upper-body ones. There are now almost no restrictions in daily life, and I barely think about having had surgery in everyday life.

📌 Bra I originally like comfortable clothing, so lately I wore padded camisoles very often. The hospital said it is best to wear bras consistently to maintain shape, so lately I have been making more of an effort to wear them. I thought comfort was everything, but I should preserve the shape that has settled so nicely this far haha.

📝 Summary * Shape: Settled naturally / upper-pole fullness greatly improved * Feel: Much softer than at the beginning * Sensation: Sensation around the nipples is gradually returning * Daily life: Almost all normal activities possible * Exercise: Possible, but still mainly lower body * Care: Continuing scar laser treatment + scar ointment

Looking back after reaching six months, I remember worrying in the beginning about when they would soften, when the upper-pole fullness would go down, and when sensation would return. In the end, each concern is naturally improving with time, and now I do not have any major concerns other than scar care. In particular, I wanted breasts that were not excessive and naturally suited my body type, and the current shape feels exactly like that, so I am satisfied. The upper-pole fullness and sensation also seem to still be changing gradually, so I am curious how they will be different at one year haha.
