Obli bulbous nose surgery: three-month review

[Bulbous nose surgery / three-month postoperative review] It has already been three months since I underwent Inofit surgery for a bulbous nose at Obli Plastic Surgery with Dr. Kim Da-alm. I was not someone who swelled severely to begin with, so I thought there would not be much difference from the one-month mark. But when I look in the mirror or take photos these days, I can tell it has settled much more naturally than it had a month ago.

At the preoperative consultation, the doctor pointed out my pre-existing nostril asymmetry and crooked nose, and honestly told me in advance that raising the height with an implant could make the asymmetry stand out a little more than it does now. At first, I was slightly conscious of the nostrils being different in size or shape, just as the doctor said. But at my last follow-up, I was told that the center of my nose itself had settled straight without any tilt, which reassured me. In truth, I only notice the nostril asymmetry when I stare at it myself, so I now live comfortably without thinking about it at all.

As my nasal bridge became higher, my whole face gained more dimension. Whenever acquaintances I have not seen in a while ask whether I lost weight or whether my face has become slimmer, it makes me feel that I got exactly the dimensional line I wanted; this is the part I am most satisfied with.

I originally had a childlike, cute image, so I secretly worried that feeling might disappear. Instead, people around me often compliment me on looking more elegant and feminine, and it feels like I have discovered a new charm.

The sensation in my ear and nasal tip still feels slightly unfamiliar, but it is gradually returning. I am looking forward to the time when the sensation fully recovers and my nose completely finds its place, because I think it will look even more natural and suit my face better than it does now.
