I had a typical bulbous nose, but after rhinoplasty I now have a straight nose. ^^ These days people tell me I have transformed, so I feel great. I remembered looking up reviews while researching hospitals, so I am writing this in case it helps someone.
At the consultation, the director told me that a large nose like mine could not be made into a straight line using septal cartilage or ear cartilage. He said autologous costal cartilage of a certain length was necessary. Since I emphasized wanting a natural result, I decided to proceed by augmenting the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage without an implant.
The GNG Hospital where I had surgery is an otolaryngology hospital. My right side kept getting blocked, so I initially went to consult at a place that performs functional nasal surgery. A CT scan showed that my septum was severely deviated... They said the inside of my nose had also become narrow, which was probably why it had been hard to breathe.
They corrected the functional issues overall, and I am happy that I can breathe well now. ^^ I wanted a straight line, and I think Dr. Lee Seong-hun understood and created the line I had in mind. The surgery went well, so I have gained confidence, and whenever I look at it, all I think is that investing the money was worth it.
