I thought I would definitely need an incision, but natural adhesion... brought light into my life. I had it done by Dr. A at [Clinic A]!!!!
I had monolids and wore double-eyelid tape for a long time, so maybe because of that, I developed very pronounced multiple double-eyelid folds T_T
When I first decided on surgery, I went to consultations thinking that getting double eyelids would simply solve everything, but... T_T My expectations were really lowered during the consultations.
I was strongly encouraged to get various additional procedures, and I wanted to avoid an incision because the swelling and scarring burden of cutting into the eyelid seemed too great, but most places recommended an incision... haha
Dr. A first listened to what I wanted and consulted with me in a way that would work toward it. I liked that they honestly said we could do natural adhesion, but that I would probably need a slight inner canthoplasty because the folds at the inner corners of my eyes were pronounced.
They also created the double-eyelid line beautifully in the natural style I had envisioned! Maybe because it was natural adhesion, I had no swelling or pain at all, and the canthoplasty was better than I expected. The double-eyelid line came out exactly as it had been designed during the consultation haha
The multiple double-eyelid folds have disappeared completely.
I did not search extensively for reviews or anything; I chose surgery because communication with the doctor was easy and they accommodated me well, but I had no idea they were such a skilled doctor haha
