As you can see from the photos, my eyes were extremely sunken. They were small and deeply set. When your eyes are like this, you do not even think about wanting to look prettier. You only want to live with ordinary-looking eyes.
I considered surgery and actually went to consultations. But I could hardly get an answer that 100% improvement was possible, and some clinics even refused, saying it would probably be difficult. lol
It was not even a severe revision surgery, lol. Anyway, when I was really devastated, among the clinics I consulted, the one that spoke most confidently about it being possible—and said they could operate not merely to improve it but to create the shape I wanted—was Dr. Kim Jeong-hyu at [Clinic A].
Of course, my eyes required several procedures. The doctor recommended only what was truly necessary, but eyelid ptosis correction and canthoplasty were unavoidable, haha. Still, I hoped it could resolve the issue somehow, and the surgery seems to have gone even better than I expected.
Of course, beauty is subjective, and others may think, “Is this considered pretty?” But considering what my eyes were like before, I think it turned out incredibly well. It has relieved a lot of my appearance-related insecurity and given me confidence. These days, I am trying to love myself more, haha.
I had become very withdrawn after being refused, so I want to tell Dr. Kim Jeong-hyu how grateful I am that he confidently said surgery was possible and performed it so well. It truly feels like my life has completely changed... I have two dads now... my eye-dad...
