It has already been about three months since I got arm LAMS. I have always had a skinny-fat body type, so the excess fat on my upper arms bothered me disproportionately compared with the rest of my body. In particular, the bulge at the back of my arms and the front bulge near the accessory-breast area when wearing a sleeveless top were the most stressful T_T So, while getting the procedure on my entire arms, I also added treatment for both the front and back bulges. During the procedure, I explained which areas concerned me, and they examined everything carefully, which I liked! Comparing photos now after three months at the same angle, I think photos definitely make comparison the easiest. My arm circumference went from 31 cm initially to the 28 cm range, a difference of over 2 cm. I also lost weight, so it is difficult to say the change was from LAMS alone, but I am satisfied that my overall arm contour looks more refined than before haha For me, the line visible when dressed mattered more than my weight. Before, I could not wear sleeveless tops because I was so conscious of the front bulge T_T Now, being able to wear sleeveless tops more comfortably is what I like most. What I was initially worried about was fibrosis. After the procedure, I felt some firm lumps, and I also had bruising and swelling. The bruising in particular extended quite far down from my upper arms, and I remember worrying whether it would reach my wrists lol T_T Even at around one month, there was still some swelling and small lumps I could feel, but I have continued aftercare and monitoring as I reached month three. The extent and recovery speed of fibrosis or swelling will differ from person to person, so please treat this only as my experience! I lost weight as well and consistently managed my arm fat, so I cannot say exactly what caused the change. But when I look at the before-and-after photos, the front- and back-bulge lines I deliberated over most look different, so I am personally satisfied haha Rather than taking photos right after arm LAMS, I recommend saving photos at one, two, and three months. You may not notice when seeing yourself every day, but changes are much easier to see when comparing the same clothing and pose lol If you are skinny-fat like me and are especially stressed about upper-arm fat, or concerned about the front or back lines when wearing sleeveless tops, feel free to ask anything!
