I’m so happy lately because everyone’s reactions after my double-eyelid surgery have been great lol

People around me have been reacting really well to my double-eyelid surgery lately. Some friends ask where on earth I got my eyes done, and quite a few people quietly message me for eye procedure information when I upload photos, so I feel proud. At first, I thought it was enough if I was satisfied, but hearing people repeatedly say my eyes got prettier really does make me happier. Until last month, it had not been long since surgery, so I was most concerned about the swelling going down and how the crease would settle. But now that the major swelling has completely subsided, those worries have mostly disappeared. As time has passed, the crease has gradually become thinner than at first and looks much more natural, and the swelling seems to have gone down faster than I expected. My natural double eyelids were barely visible, so without makeup my eyes looked somewhat closed-off, and I was stressed because I looked especially sleepy in photos. But now my eyes themselves look defined and pretty even without makeup, so I understand why people get double-eyelid surgery. I am really feeling its effect. At first, I deliberated a lot over whether I should also get inner canthoplasty to look prettier, but in the end I think it was good not to get too greedy and to do only what I needed. If I had done every possible procedure, I might not have gotten the natural look I wanted, and I like how it is now. Recently, I went to [Clinic A] for a progress check, and the surgeon looked at my eyes and said they seemed to have turned out really well. I liked them every time I looked in the mirror, but hearing the surgeon who performed the operation say that directly made me feel even more reassured. I used to have a huge complex about my eyes, but now that they have changed into the eye shape I wanted, that stress has greatly disappeared. As time passes, I can see them becoming more natural, and lately I truly think getting double-eyelid surgery was a great decision.
