My first surgery was a total disaster… I waited until revision was possible and had it done right away T_T. I had severe sausage eyelids and very noticeable asymmetry, and even severe incision scars when my eyes were closed, which was incredibly stressful. As you can see in the photos, the right crease was far too high and the two sides were very asymmetrical, so I worried every time I took photos. Even normally, I would look at my eyes first whenever I saw a mirror, and it was really stressful.
So I visited consultations mainly at places frequently mentioned for revision surgery. When researching clinics, I considered the surgeon's experience important. Since my first surgery had failed so badly, I felt I truly needed to choose carefully this time. This time, my revision with Dr. Lee Jun-hyeok at Unique Plastic Surgery was a success.
[Before surgery] The biggest concerns were the sausage eyelids and asymmetry. The right crease was particularly high, so the sides were very uneven. The incision scars visible with my eyes closed were also fairly severe. This time, my main goals were absolutely to lower the crease and achieve bilateral symmetry.
[Week 2] Honestly, at two weeks I still had a lot of swelling, so I was worried, lol. The crease also looked thicker than expected, so I wondered if it was okay. But because it was a revision and an incision procedure, I thought that might be why and waited. It still seemed too early to judge the result then.
[Month 1] From one month, it was clearly visible that the crease had lowered considerably. It became much more natural than I had worried at two weeks, and most of all I was happiest with how well the symmetry matched. Before, only the right side was especially high, so it was immediately obvious in photos, but that has reduced greatly now.
[Month 2] At two months, people around me also clearly said I did well to get revision surgery, lol. The incision scars visible when my eyes were closed had faded a lot compared with the beginning, and the crease with my eyes open became much more natural than before.
> I left this review in photo order. The result may change slightly with more time, but based on the progress so far, I am relieved that the revision seems to have been successful T_T. I was under so much stress from the first surgery, but this time the result is good, so I truly feel at ease. In any case, for anyone considering revision surgery like me, please research clinics very carefully and decide well from your first surgery…^^ I suffered so much with my first surgery that I never want to go through this again T_T.
