After finally getting the nose surgery I had been deliberating over for a long time, it has now been two weeks, so I am leaving a review lol. As you can see from my pre-op photos, the starting point of my bridge between my eyes and the whole area were deeply sunken, so my nose tended to get lost from both the front and side T_T. I also had a subtle hump on the bridge, a somewhat rounded tip, and a retracted columella, which made my nose look slightly stuffy overall... Especially in side photos, I was very concerned that the low bridge and retracted columella made my nose look set back compared with my lips T_T. But I also really did not want an artificially raised bridge or a pointed tip. I wanted that distinct open, sophisticated vibe like Karina's, you know lol. So during my consultation, I told Dr. Chu Seong-cheol to smooth the hump only slightly and address the bridge and tip, bulbous nose, and columella together!! I wanted the dorsum and tip to look softly rounded and three-dimensional, like the nose style of Western women, and I stressed that I wanted a Karina-like feel but absolutely did not want anything pointed or excessive lol. The doctor laughed and said I had done a lot of studying, which was a little embarrassing lol. After carefully examining my frontal and side angles, the doctor said that rather than forcibly raising only the bridge, they would naturally restore the sunken bridge starting point and retracted columella, refine the hump and tip, and create a smooth continuous flow lol. They understood my needs exactly and explained them, so I felt at ease and booked the surgery date right away! Looking at the photos I took today, the line from the previously sunken bridge starting point is just right without being excessive~~~ Before, my retracted columella made my side profile look flat and my nose look set back, but after slightly bringing out the columella and refining the bridge hump and tip line, the straight-to-slightly-curved line from the bridge to the tip connects very smoothly lol. The dorsum and tip have the softly rounded, dimensional shape I wanted, so I think it gives exactly the sophisticated Karina-style vibe I had imagined, and I am satisfied~ There is none of the pointed look I worried about; they just cleanly fixed the stuffy appearance, so overall I feel my impression has become much more elegant and prettier lol. Above all, even when I go out after just roughly applying sunscreen with no makeup in the morning, my nose contour is already defined, so the best thing is that my getting-ready time has really decreased lol. The hospital coordinators also carefully took care of disinfection and swelling management when I went for my two-week follow-up, so I received care comfortably~~💖
