I struggled with my side profile for a long time. The middle of my nasal bridge protruded and the tip drooped, so the hump became more prominent whenever I smiled. I had never liked my side-profile photos in my life.. I finally worked up the courage and went for a nose surgery consultation. At the consultation, I thought simply shaving the hump would be enough, but they said that after shaving it, the nasal tip needs to be raised to continue the line and make the profile look better.. I was so nervous on the day of surgery that my hands became cold, but it was strange because it was all finished when I woke up.. lol The pain was much more tolerable than I had feared; it was almost fair to say there was hardly any.. lol The nasal congestion and my mouth becoming extremely dry were harder instead.. I had no idea breathing through my mouth could feel so suffocating... Some bruising appeared lightly around my nose and faded within a few days, and as the swelling goes down, the line is gradually appearing.. There is still swelling, but my nose line is already smooth, high, and pretty..
