Because of my double chin, I had been consistently getting facial fat-dissolving injections and lifting treatments. I was increasingly satisfied with the post-treatment jawline, but disappointed by how poorly it lasted, so I decided on surgery. The financial burden of needing treatments repeatedly was also something I deliberated over, but with surgery, the areas I was worried about were resolved all at once. If treatments were like putting out the fire a little at a time, surgery felt like putting it out in one go with a fire extinguisher, so I am more satisfied! I was worried about the incision too, but it is so small and scarless that my concern feels silly..haha It is certainly more expensive than liposuction alone, but it seems worth the cost.
