Review, day 32 after revision rhinoplasty.
My original nose had problems with contracture and implant inflammation, and I also did not like the shape of my nostrils, so I looked into revision surgery. I consulted at several places and chose Dr. Lee Ju-cheol at Begin.
I liked that the chief doctor performs one-on-one surgery and provides thorough postoperative care. At the consultation, the doctor personally examined my nose and explained the surgical plan in detail. I also liked that he did not push surgery excessively and set the surgery date and duration according to my condition.
I had surgery on July 30, and today is day 32. It has only been about a month, so I will need to wait longer for the final result, but right now I like the side profile and natural look the most. The pain, swelling, and bruising were not as severe as I expected.
For me, the pain in the rib area where autologous costal cartilage was harvested was actually worse than the nose pain. I plan to wait a little longer and see how the shape settles.
