I Had My 10-Year-Old Nose Redone, and the Nasal Tip Really Is Important

It had been almost 10 years since my first rhinoplasty. At that time I used only silicone and septal cartilage, but as time passed, my nasal tip gradually drooped and a slight hump-like prominence appeared on the side profile, so I ultimately had revision surgery. This time I went to Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at [Clinic A], and the nasal tip was absolutely what I considered most important. I emphasized that rather than merely making the nasal bridge straight, I wanted the nasal-tip shape and angle to look attractive too, lol. As the swelling went down after revision surgery, the first thing I kept checking was also the nasal tip, and this time it is definitely different from before. My old nose had a bridge in side view, but toward the tip it looked as though it just dropped weakly. Now the tip projects forward appropriately without being overly upturned or pointed, and its shape is neatly defined. From the front, it no longer looks blunt and spread out; its shape has become distinct, and that is what I like most, haha. I also notice a big difference when smiling. Before, when I smiled, my already drooping tip seemed to drop even more, so I really disliked side-profile photos. Now, even in smiling photos, the nasal-tip shape looks much more stable. The slight hump was also refined, so the side profile has the straight-yet-soft line I wanted. It flows smoothly from bridge to tip; it is neither a rigid, perfectly straight line nor an overly dramatic curve, so it suits my taste. Before revision surgery, I focused mostly on nasal-bridge lines, but after having it done, I feel a nose's overall impression really changes with details of just a few millimeters at the tip, lol. With the drooping look gone and the shape refined, it looks much more sophisticated than before, so I am satisfied. Since I was doing it again after 10 years, I deliberated for a long time, but these days when I take photos, I zoom in on the nasal tip before the side profile, lol. I am happy because this time the points I wanted seem to have been achieved properly, haha.
