Before getting rhinoplasty this time, I looked up a huge number of reviews of rhinoplasty for men on various cafés and apps. Everyone around me said I should first identify what kind of nose I like.
After looking through many reviews, I liked a style that suited my face naturally and made my features look a little more defined, rather than an obviously high nose. So when I had rhinoplasty at D-Day this time, I explained exactly the look I wanted and the points that had usually bothered me.
I was concerned about my dorsal hump, but from the front my nose looked slightly asymmetric and my nostrils showed a lot, making my nose look congested overall. Taking these points into account, the doctor did not simply raise my bridge; instead, he neatly corrected the dorsal hump and shaped the angle and form of my nasal tip to improve my bulbous nose and asymmetry together.
After surgery, the sense that my nose looked pulled toward one side from the front improved a lot, and the overall line became much straighter. I am especially satisfied that, as the nasal-tip angle was shaped naturally, my nostrils no longer stand out from the front as they did before.
Before, my nose made the center of my face look somewhat congested. Now, with the nose providing a defined central point, my overall impression seems much sharper. Before surgery, I worried quite a bit that making the nasal tip too thin might not suit my face or might give a feminine impression. But after doing it, my nose became more refined while still retaining a masculine feel, which I like.
Only my nose changed, but my overall impression is much more defined than before, and people around me have been saying that I became more handsome. I think my rhinoplasty turned out well.
