One-Year Review of Closed Rhinoplasty

I am the type to avoid leaving reviews because it is a hassle, but I am posting my one-year rhinoplasty review in hopes it helps people preparing for nose surgery. I had closed rhinoplasty plus functional nasal surgery at [Clinic A] near Sinsa Station one year and six months ago. The result is that my deviated septum became more severely bent to one side, to the point where I can feel the cartilage, while the cosmetic result is just so-so... T_T

Right after surgery, I thought the rhinitis surgery had gone wrong, so I made an appointment and visited the clinic. The standard wait was 30 minutes and sometimes as long as an hour. One day, after I had already waited, they suddenly said the director had another surgery scheduled and that I should either wait about one more hour to be seen or go home. I waited 30 minutes and left... (After that, it was even hard to see the face of the chief director who performed my surgery.) Their aftercare was truly a mess.

The problem was also the director's attitude. At the initial consultation, he confidently said he performed plenty of functional nasal surgeries, was good at rhinitis surgery too, and that I should not worry. But immediately after surgery, my septum became so much more crooked that not even one finger could fit through. When I went in for an examination, he said there was nothing wrong with his surgery and that it could become more crooked even after rhinitis and septal surgery, and that there was nothing more he could do. (He did not do anything additional either ^^) What a shameless attitude... haha

After that, I could not even see the director's face. When I occasionally went in for scar-tissue injections, another doctor gave me the injection. I am stressed and do not want to think about it, but I am posting this because I hope others will not regret surgery as I do. Sigh.
