Other places said I did not need it, but this clinic said osteotomy was necessary. Because mine is a short nose, it should not be lowered, so it does not become shorter. Dissolve filler at least one week beforehand. Alar reduction should absolutely not be done. If proceeding with costal cartilage, surgery takes 1 to 1.5 hours; dressing takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The columellar strut will use autologous costal cartilage. The nasal tip will use septal cartilage. There is a small amount of donated costal cartilage. Dressing the day after surgery, nasal packing for 3 days, splint for 7 days, cast for 14 days, and follow-up after one month. They recommended medial canthoplasty. The director seemed busy, and it felt like they were recommending adding eye surgery as a package, so my trust was somewhat shaken... (?) lol.
