This is my one-month review of thigh liposuction at [Clinic A] in Apgujeong. It has already been a month. Until week two, I had a lot of swelling and severe BioBond fibrosis on my inner thighs, so I wondered when it would improve, but after a month it has definitely become much more comfortable. There is now almost no problem walking or moving around. Daily life is comfortable too; only strenuous movements such as doing the splits are still somewhat difficult. If I get up after sitting for over an hour, my legs feel slightly tight, but compared with week two, it has truly improved a lot.
The swelling is continuing to go down, and as the contour gradually settles, I can see that my legs look slimmer overall. Perhaps because of that, my satisfaction keeps increasing over time. Right after surgery, the thigh gap was very visible, but now it is not as visible because of swelling. Still, the overall thickness has clearly decreased, so I notice the difference when I get dressed.
The scars are still fairly noticeable. They are more visible than I expected, so I am diligently applying scar ointment and caring for them. It has only been one month, so I think they may improve with consistent care; for now, I plan to keep applying it.
I deliberated over thigh liposuction for a very long time. At first, the pain made it so hard that I wondered whether I should not have done it. In particular, having difficulty walking and even sitting properly for more than 10 days was the hardest part. But seeing the swelling go down and the contour settle as it is now, I think I am glad I did it.
These days, I only think about wanting to wear pretty clothes quickly before summer ends lol. It has not fully settled yet, so I am also looking forward to more swelling going down.
I would also like to recommend the consultation coordinator, Jang-gyeong, who was very kind and helpful. They explained things in detail whenever I asked questions, which made the consultation a good experience.
