My height-to-weight ratio is normal and I’m about a B cup. I don’t have a big desire for a larger chest itself, but I thought that if I’m going to lose belly fat and upper arm fat, I’d like to put it into my breasts instead... That’s how I started looking into breast fat grafting, and I have no intention of implants at all!
I like having a sturdy lower body, so I didn’t want to touch the lower body at all, and I went into consultations saying I might consider hip dip fat grafting later.
1. Number Hospital, Gyodae branch From the size of the hospital to the overall atmosphere, everything felt different. Maybe because it’s a specialty fat hospital, there was a lot of pride, and it also had the most people. There were many staff members, and everyone was kind. They measured my InBody, arm circumference, and abdominal circumference, then I consulted with the coordinator and met the doctor.
They showed me with ultrasound and explained in detail how many centimeters of fat I had and how much could be removed, and they answered my questions well, but somehow the process felt a bit rushed. I didn’t have many questions, so I just said yes, yes, and left quickly.
The price was 12 million won total for full abdominal + upper arm liposuction and breast fat grafting, including compression garment. If I had enough cash, I would have done it here, but it was more over budget than I expected, so I passed. After hearing the price, I forgot everything that had been said before, so I can’t remember how much they said they would put in...
2. G.R.B. There is a consultation fee of 10,000 won here. It wasn’t as big as Number Hospital, but it felt clean and newly opened. The changing room and consultation rooms were arranged like a maze lol
Here too, I first consulted with the coordinator and then met the doctor. I was seen by Dr. N.S.J., and the exam ended with just looking and touching by hand, without ultrasound. The consultation itself was thorough.
They said 300 cc per side would be possible. With abdominal liposuction + arm liposuction + accessory breast removal, and the compression garment costing an extra 100,000 won, stem cell fat grafting came to 7.8 million won and regular fat grafting to 6.6 million won.
I put down a 100,000 won deposit, and they said if I confirmed the date within a year, they would honor the original quote, so I left the deposit for now.
3. M.D.S. This was the place that caught my eye even while I was searching on my own, so I booked it right away.
The facility itself felt a bit less modern than the two places above and slightly older, but that didn’t matter much to me anyway (if anything, it felt trustworthy, like proof that they had survived for a long time), so I didn’t mind! The coordinator explained everything carefully, including side effects, surgical cases, how much of the fat would likely take, and that aftercare would be possible for 3 years. They also recommended doing a second procedure. They said they would freeze the leftover fat from the first round and use it later. The second surgery would cost only 1.2 million won.
When I consulted with the doctor, they checked the amount of fat with ultrasound. I said I didn’t want to touch the lower body and only wanted to work on the arms and abdomen, and they said it wasn’t impossible, but because of fat volume they recommended liposuction from the thighs first. They said that if I wanted hip dip fat grafting later, then I should use the upper arms at that time. It felt less like sculpting the body through liposuction and more like truly using the fat as material for grafting...
They said that if I confirmed the date within a month, they would include one PRP boosting session as a free service.
There is an FS incision method that leaves fewer scars, and if I chose that it would be 5.5 million won. Regular stem cell fat grafting was 3.5 million won. Adding accessory breast removal was 500,000 won, and adding arm liposuction was another 1 million won. The compression garment is separate at 100,000 won, and they said the 10 percent VAT plus the 100,000 won compression garment should be prepared in cash.
4. S.N.Y. The atmosphere here was similar to M.D.S. They weighed me, took face and full-body photos, and I consulted with the coordinator. They had an unedited mugshot-like photo of my face displayed on the computer, which was a bit hard to look at.....
We looked at the photos together and checked which areas would be good to remove and how much could be added. Here, they said 340 cc could be injected per side.
I had wanted to focus on the abdomen first, but they said the abdomen didn’t yield much fat and that, in terms of proportions, it would be better to remove from the arms first. Hearing that, I was like, hmm, is that so? But I said the love handles showing through my clothes stress me out, so I still wanted to do the abdomen. They said that since that area wouldn’t lose much anyway, the arms were the most urgent. That made me feel complicated.
I haven’t really been stressed about my upper arms before, so... I didn’t get to meet the doctor here. They said if I really wanted to, I’d have to set another date and come back. They said they would look with ultrasound on the day of surgery, and I worried what if I changed my mind by then.
It was the cheapest price: arm + accessory breast + breast fat grafting for 5.1 million won, compression garment separate. If I wanted abdominal liposuction, it would be 650,000 won extra, but they talked as if it wouldn’t be from the area I wanted and that the abdomen wouldn’t go well, so I started overthinking even more.
My main goal is more about cleaning up my body line than breast size, so I’m conflicted I do like M.D.S. in many ways, but since they are conservative with liposuction, I feel like I may not get the line I want.
