I am posting this after getting surprised while organizing the side-view photos I took during my nose surgery. It has been 1 year, and these are both plastic surgery clinic photos, not even taken with a phone camera, just straight-up factual shots lol I am wearing the exact same clothes... A plastic-surgery-consultation outfit. Did Pilates and ballet in the meantime, so maybe my turtle neck improved a bit? (p)
I had steadily been a thin body type, but my face fat and chin fat felt like they would burst. I still remember when a friend in middle school said, ‘Looking at your body, you would not know it, but surprisingly your double chin is no joke.’ (It was a joke, and I also hit them lightly as a joke and moved on.)
I was told that all this cheek fat and chin fat was just baby fat and not to get excessive procedures, so I waited until my mid-20s. > Yep, confirmed not baby fat.
My weight was 160 cm / 47 kg, and there was no weight change before or after. I even tried losing more from there, but fat like a double chin just accumulated.
1. Even after losing down to the low 40 kg range, the double chin did not disappear. 2. If I had to lose that much weight again, I felt like I would be near death... so I just went straight to the operating table.
I had tried a bit of contouring injections and InMode before, but they did not work, and the price difference between 3 Violet injections and liposuction was not that big, so I wanted something definite. If you are scared of surgery and anesthesia, maybe try 3 Violet first, then use liposuction as the last resort... It really seems true that if you are satisfied with a procedure, you would not even think about posting a review on this community. It has already been almost a year since my jawline liposuction.
At first, since I also had cheek liposuction, my cheekbones looked more prominent, and because I have a peanut-shaped face, my face was already asymmetrical, so one cheekbone was more noticeable. Now, as time has passed, the fat that was separated has reattached and the fibrosis has settled, so it is not something that bothers me much!
If I have any regret, it is not doing the deep cheek fat at the same time... Once the swelling from my nose goes down, I am definitely going to do it again while reshaping my face
