I wrote everything about my nose condition and the effects I hope to get from surgery in my previous post. I went around for another round of consultations in Busan, so I’m posting this.
I made all the consultation reservations in advance before going. ㅇㅅㅋㄹㅅ, ㅇㅇㅇㅋ (repeat consultation), ㄹㅇ
The reason I wanted a repeat consultation at ㅇㅇㅇㅋ was... Honestly, even though I said I was getting nose surgery, I should have known how the surgery is done and whether that surgical method really suits me, but I didn’t know well. I thought just getting a consultation would be enough.. I wondered if the consultation didn’t feel satisfying because I didn’t have enough questions, so I studied a bit and went back. Also, all the reviews from people who had surgery here said the consultation wasn’t great, but they were sweet before and after surgery.. lol Since some online research reviews bothered me a bit, I went one more time.

1. ㅇㅅㅋㄹㅅ
The entrance was a bit confusing, so I wandered around a little looking for the elevator to go up. There aren’t many plastic surgery reviews, but there are a few long, sincere reviews.. I had also seen some broker-like posts, so I was suspicious. But because there is a female director and they take a CT first during consultation (paid), I thought I should at least go for one consultation.
The hospitals I had been to until then didn’t really take CT scans unless it was functional rhinoplasty, so I thought it would be good to get one taken and hear a doctor’s opinion at least once.
The system is really well organized... The facility is clean and all the consultants are kind. But when consulting with the director, because I’m in my early 20s, she casually spoke down to me like “you,” “you can do ~~,” “you know too,” and I didn’t like that. Until now, no matter what hospital I went to, none of them spoke casually to me like that.
After taking the CT, I went straight into the director consultation. She showed me various photos, showed a PPT on how the surgery is done, and I also liked that they don’t put cotton inside the nose. I have a bulbous nose, but since I wanted no implant, I was told it wouldn’t be dramatic as expected.. This was the first place that suggested artificial dermis for the nasal bridge.. I had no idea what artificial dermis was, so I was confused, but they said the chance of side effects is zero, so I wondered, “Is that true?” and wanted to search this community. lol
Hump + bulbous nose correction + ear cartilage (they said they only use ear cartilage here; I liked that too because I’m a bit scared of using septal cartilage) = 4.2 million 3.8 million if booking the surgery date the same day 600,000 if using artificial dermis 500,000 for alar reduction
They said for artificial dermis or alar reduction, they would do what seems worth doing during surgery and not do what isn’t. If it was done, you pay the additional cost afterward. It seemed like they communicate with the patient during surgery about aesthetic aspects of the shape.
A/S 1 year; after 1 year, a minimum fee applies Aftercare every 2-3 days, every two days (like days 1, 3, 5, 7~) Aqua peel from 2 weeks later.
The consultant said this clinic doesn’t do much hospital advertising and many people come through acquaintance referrals.. Hmm, I was suspicious, but when I searched online, most people really did seem to have gone through acquaintance referrals. But it was too expensive.. so I didn’t choose it in the end. I did like it though.
2. ㅇㅇㅇㅋ (repeat consultation)
I saw the director first. He looked at the consultation chart and asked what else I was curious about, so I asked various questions, and he answered each question well.. I asked whether if scar tissue forms it could look more like a bulbous nose, and whether removing the tissues inside would cause scar tissue, things like that. He answered by saying something like, “Then we just need to operate so it doesn’t form,” maybe? Suddenly.. I felt trust.. lol I asked more questions.. He held my nose and explained while talking.
Since I had heard about artificial dermis at clinic 1, I asked what he thought about putting artificial dermis in the nasal bridge, and he said, “Well, that would be okay too,” and left the choice to me.. I think I’ll talk about this in detail later on the day of surgery (final chosen clinic: ㅇㅇㅇㅋ). Even if I end up using artificial dermis, there was no additional cost (clinic 1 had an extra 600,000 won charge haha..)
Then I went back to the consultant and listened to the explanation. The consultant was curious about what I asked during the repeat consultation, so I told her. She said the director has surgeries too and consults many people by making time between surgery slots, so he only gives estimates for exactly what needs to be done, and when questions are asked, the consultant explains in detail, so the director may feel blunt.. haha

Nasal tip ear cartilage + bulbous nose correction = 2.75 million They said there’s no price difference whether I use silicone or not, so I should think about it Sedation + local anesthesia Aftercare for two days, 2-3 days; revision surgery A/S free for 5 years I had a consultation with Director ㅇㅌㅎ, and the consultant said he is someone who pursues safety. They said simple treatments and injections are handled by the treatment room staff, and important treatments are handled by the director.
The price was reasonable.. During the consultation, he kept holding up a mirror and shaping my nose so I could see how it would change. He also drew pictures and explained things in an easy-to-understand way! But he kept asking, “How do you think it will turn out?” lololol
I was tempted by the free 5-year revision coverage.. but somehow I wasn’t drawn to it. Maybe I didn’t like that he made silicone sound tempting? At ㅇㅇㅇㅋ, when I said I didn’t want to use silicone, they coolly just said “OK” and moved on lol

So my final chosen clinic is ㅇㅇㅇㅋ. The price is reasonably fair, I liked that the director handles all the aftercare, and the A/S period is fairly long too. I haven’t really seen many side-effect cases, but if you look at the hospital review app, there are a few reviews. There are some dissatisfied reviews saying the shape is too natural.. but I like natural. Some people say they regret it afterward because it looks natural, but I don’t know. I just want enough improvement so I don’t worry about my nose when I take off my mask.
I booked my surgery date and am waiting~~! I hope it goes well. Good luck to everyone doing consultations.
