Consultation day
I had a reservation at 12, so I arrived exactly at 12. After waiting about 15 minutes, the consultant came and did the consultation When I said what surgery I wanted, she wrote it down and left After waiting 5 minutes, the director came in. He explained what should be done and how. It seemed to take about 3 minutes After the consultation with the director, I consulted with the consultant and scheduled the surgery date (I was in a hurry, so I set it for the same day)
Day of surgery
They called the day before surgery and said I had to fast, but told me to eat something light in the morning before coming (surgery was at 12) I went there, waited, washed my face, and lay down They put an IV in my arm, and this stung a bit. After that, I was asleep I woke up in the middle of surgery and felt everything: shaving down the hump nose and osteotomizing the nasal bones. I woke up so completely lucid that I asked if people normally wake up in the middle like this, and they said yes. Since I was fully lucid, I just asked things like whether I could eat. I thought I was asking too much, so I asked, "Am I talking too much?" and they said yes, so I just shut my mouth. After the surgery ended, I walked out on my own feet. The surgery took 1 hour (I think it took even less...?)
After surgery, I just lay in the recovery room. I was so lucid that I just came out. When I left, they gave me a cold pack and told me the precautions: if it swells, do ice compresses, and do not let water touch my nose. They gave me the medical certificate, and that was it Now that I am recovering, I think the precautions were too simple, so I did not know things like whether I could blow my nose, so I think I asked everything in this community... thank you..
The actual time I saw the director was really short: 3 minutes during consultation and once in the operating room on surgery day
They told me to come on day 7 after surgery to remove the stitches and splint. The place where I got the injection on the left still aches (I am on day 6 now)
I have not seen my nose yet, so I do not know... but so far it is fairly okay
