Review at 2 weeks after nose surgery

HeheAfterBeforeI kept thinking about nose surgery and finally did it after 3 years, and I think the surgery was a success! Before surgery, I visited 3 clinics, and this director was the kindest and explained things the best, so I trusted them and decided to have the surgery. It was the first clinic I consulted at, but the time I spent talking with the director was longer than the time I spent talking with the consultant. Also, among the clinics I went to, it was the only one that said what matters more is making it come out beautifully in a way that suits my face. They mentioned bulbous nose correction + nasal bridge + nasolabial angle correction, and I had the surgery exactly as consulted.

I don’t know if it’s my constitution or if the doctor did the surgery well, but I didn’t hurt at all even on the day of surgery, and I could breathe well even before the cotton was removed. Maybe it’s because I have a slightly weak chin and usually breathe well through my mouth..? From the day of surgery until now, week 2, my eyes and face haven’t swollen at all, and I had no bruising. Only my nasal bridge and nasal tip were puffy, and now I think only the tip is still swollen. For bruising, after the splint was removed there was only yellow bruising next to the nasal bridge, and now even that is almost gone. After the splint came off, my nose looked bent sideways so I thought my nose was ruined, but after 2 weeks the swelling went down and it became okay! (But I’m originally pretty easygoing and don’t really pay attention to these things, so I didn’t have a mental-breakdown period. If you’re worried and scared about side effects even before getting nose surgery, it might be better not to do rhinoplasty.)

For the design, I prefer a straight line more than a semi-ski-slope line, so I asked for a straight-semi line closer to straight, and I asked for the nasal tip to be rounded rather than too pointy. (I brought Karina’s nose as a reference hehe) I used 4 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, and septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip.

Does it look like the surgery went well to everyone? Even now I’m secretly satisfied because it looks both natural and glamorous, and they said the nasal tip is still set quite high and that it’ll become more natural once the swelling goes down, so I’m looking forward to it with excitement hehe I hope everyone who’s considering nose surgery and everyone who’s already had it has a successful nose surgery hehe
