I basically have no nasal bridge, so I was considering donated dermis instead of silicone, but they said it mostly gets absorbed, and it can absorb unevenly and look bumpy and unattractive. They said no one can predict the result, so they didn’t recommend it. I’m wondering if I should give up and use silicone again, but I found out there’s a surgery where they dice autologous rib cartilage (not grind it finely), wrap it in temporalis fascia, and place it on the nasal bridge. When I had a consultation, they said it doesn’t absorb like donated dermis, and since it’s my own cartilage, it has fewer side effects than silicone and looks natural. The downsides seem to be that it’s expensive, the surgery takes a long time, and the recovery period is relatively long? They said it may feel bumpy when touched, but from the outside it looks natural, like a natural-born nose. If anyone has had this done, please share some info. This is already a revision surgery for me, and I don’t want to do it again, so I’m really debating.

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
