1. AB The consultant first explained osteotomy and short nose, and explained all the materials and each possible side effect. I met Director Lee Jung-hwan, and we talked about osteotomy, short nose, and bulbous nose (it was my first time realizing I had a bulbous nose). Then he immediately brought up autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, saying cartilage alone would not be enough. He asked if I had anything else to ask, but I didn’t really, so it ended in 3 minutes. I met the consultant again and got the estimate. At other places, as far as I know, if donated costal cartilage is used, only about the material cost is added, but here they called it a donated costal cartilage surgery fee, so about 1.6 million won was added (silicone + septal cartilage, cartilage - 1.89 million won charged separately). So for a first rhinoplasty, the price came out in the high 6 million won range, but they said there was an ongoing event and cut it in half.
2. Wonjin This place felt like a maze. It ended quickly, but maybe because the doctor also does facial contouring, he said I had a retruded chin, and that my forehead was flat, so although the nose was an issue, these areas were also problems. He said since I came for my nose, he would first give me a nose estimate. . Even at the end, he left saying I should redo my eyes too. They asked me to sign a contract the same day. They said there would be a 400,000 won difference. . And here, they would use septal cartilage and ear cartilage as much as possible, but if insufficient, donated costal cartilage may be used (if used, pay an additional 500,000 won later).
3. Weverse There was a lot of waiting in between, and one nurse was a bit brusque. The consultant was kind, and the doctor was the chief director, Dr. Seo Seung-jo. He said for a bulbous nose, they would do osteotomy, put in 3 mm silicone, and as they correct it, it would naturally improve. Since I have a slightly protruding mouth, he also mentioned nasolabial angle correction. They would use ear cartilage and septal cartilage as much as possible, and may use donated costal cartilage (additional 500,000 won, paid later).
I’m currently deciding between No. 1 and No. 3, but I’m leaning slightly toward No. 3.
