I had surgery 8 years ago with an L-shaped silicone implant + ear cartilage, and now the silicone has shifted, so the cartilage is protruding inside my nose, you know? But there’s no inflammation and it doesn’t interfere with my daily life. Still, I just feel like I want to remove it, so I went to consultations at three hospitals. At the last hospital, the counseling manager said that if it’s not something that absolutely has to be removed right away, undergoing surgery itself could mean taking on an even bigger risk, and now I suddenly have a lot on my mind Still, since having an L-shaped silicone implant continuously inside the nose keeps increasing the risk, if I’m going to remove it anyway, it’d be better to remove it sooner, right..? I’m torn
