Men’s nose consultations (Jayjun, Kowon)

I went for consultations as a man with a slight hump nose and bulbous nose. I went to Jayjun first, and while filling out the chart they kept asking if it was revision surgery, which felt a bit off... Did I look like someone who had surgery? I had the consultation with the consultant first, and it seemed like they placed quite a lot of importance on the nose shape I wanted. Then, based on what I said, I had a consultation with Director Kim Hyung Rok. He also palpated my nose and explained things well in a friendly way. He said my nasal bridge was sufficient for a non-implant approach, but the glabella area was a bit lacking, so he left that choice up to me. I was unsure whether it counted as a bulbous nose, but it is a bulbous nose He mentioned cartilage suturing. There seemed to be quite a lot of male patients, and there were many before-and-after photos, so it was good for reference. They said they would refund the same-day reservation deposit, but I left without booking... If it hadn’t been my first hospital, I might have made a reservation.. After that I went to Kowon. A staff member guided me and I had a CT scan. During the consultation with the director, he looked at both the photos and CT, identified the issues, and explained them. It felt professional, and although there were many areas that needed improvement, such as a deviated septum and rhinitis, it was really easy to understand. It made me think a lot that this is why people say to go to consultations at several places. He even showed me on the computer what I would look like after surgery, so it felt trustworthy and made me look forward to it. Overall, the feeling was pretty good. I didn’t book there either, but they told me to go to all the consultations I had scheduled. Jayjun and Kowon had slightly different surgical methods, but the way they would improve the bulbous nose was similar, and both would use septal cartilage and ear cartilage. Both said a non-implant approach was fine, but they also similarly said it might be good to place even a thin layer of silicone... They also separately organized and gave me the notes from the consultation. Anyway, the cost isn’t small... so I’m thinking about it, and for now I’m going to go to all the consultations I’ve booked.
