I booked 5 places, but only went to 4. The consultations were mainly for eyes and nose. For the eyes, my goal was almost a monolid look + ptosis correction if needed, and for the nose, correcting a hump + raising the nasal bridge just a little. Including this community, whether Googling or searching apps, no matter where I looked, information on men's eyes and noses was really hard to find, so I had no choice but to go around in person. The conditions I used for booking were clinics with at least 20 reviewers on the hospital-finding app and a rating of 4 or higher. If booking wasn't possible, I sorted by rating ascending and just picked 5 places that looked high-rated.
1. ㅈㅅㅎ The director is a warm-looking grandfather type, though not exactly benevolent. He talks super casually lololol like, just live as you are... that kind of style. First, he explained the eyes, and he explained it exactly like this: 1 just live as is 2 lightly pinch with buried sutures. He marked a much lighter double-eyelid line than when I had a consultation in Haeundae before. As soon as I showed him the eye photo I wanted (a YouTuber), he was like, “Nope, this won’t work” lololololololol. He said I didn’t need to do my eyes either, but if I really wanted to, he said he would do it very thinly and not in a burdensome-looking way. It felt like he would match my needs, but he also had very strong opinions. For the nose, seriously lololol I asked, “What should I do with my nose?” and he said, Don't do it. That one sentence was the end. I felt like I came out after being scolded with the nuance of, “You can just live as you are, so why are you trying to create work for yourself and get surgery?” But it just felt like sincere nagging. Eyes 1,000,000 cash 800,000
2. ㅈㅇㅅㅌ They recommended ptosis correction, not double-eyelid surgery. On top of that, they said something I’d never heard anywhere else. That my eyes are asymmetric because the degree to which my eyeballs protrude is different?? I knew my eyes were slightly asymmetric, but I was a bit taken aback. They also drew the line really thickly, so I was taken aback a second time. As I was lifting my bag to take out my iPad, I asked, “Would eyes like this be possible?” but before even looking at the photo, they said, “No,” so I mentally gave up there. But for the nose, they also told me not to do it. When the consultant explained the price, she quoted 1.32 million for ptosis correction, not double-eyelid surgery. Of course, it probably included double-eyelid surgery. Anyway, it strongly felt like the main thing wasn’t double-eyelid surgery but that I should get ptosis correction.
3. ㄷㅈㅇ I consulted with Director ㄱㅅㅎ (he’s super handsome, wow). Maybe because of the 10,000 won consultation fee, this was the kindest place. For the eye line, he marked both thick and light versions, explaining the pros and cons of each and what shapes would suit me. I think he carefully tried the line more than 20 times? He also worked hard explaining while drawing eye diagrams, top-down views, and perspective views, so I thought, oh... this feels trustworthy. When I showed him the photo I wanted, he explained one by one how the surgery and design would need to be done to get that result. I really liked how much he tried to reflect my needs. As for ptosis correction, he kept trying the eye line and said there was a 90% chance I wouldn’t need it, but after making the incision in the operating room, creating the double eyelid, and having me open my eyes, if it seemed necessary then it would need to be done right there. He said he was letting me know in advance just in case. It felt like he made me understand reasonably and logically why ptosis correction is needed and when it should be done. I was seriously touched, for real. For the nose, he said there’s no real need to do it... and that my nose is already high;; (Then what am I supposed to fix?) He said if I really wanted, I should try one shot of filler, and if I liked that, then when the filler dissolves, we could do surgery in that shape. And as his personal opinion, he said my cheekbones look pretty when I smile, and that fat grafting in that shape might make it even better, which I also liked. If only double-eyelid surgery: incisional surgery 990,000 + ptosis 400,000 (if needed inside the operating room)
4.ㅂㅌㅇㅇ I canceled the consultation here. The consultation time had already passed, but more than 6 people were sitting there. I had to go to my next consultation, and the timing was tight, so I just canceled and left. If it’s going to be like this, why do they even take reservations?

Or they could text that it looks like it’ll be delayed, let me know in advance, or say even one word of apology. Nothing. I’m so mad. Anyway, I had the consultation. When I showed the eye photo I wanted, it felt like they did reflect my needs. But it felt kind of half-hearted? like that. Non-incisional 1,000,000 For the nose, they said it would probably be better not to do it, but if I did... and then they explained everything in a row, saying the same things about putting in silicone and tightening the nasal tip.
I’m leaning really heavily toward ㄷㅈㅇ, but are there any men who’ve had surgery here?? Or women who’ve done it here too, please let me know how it was... There’s so little information on men’s eyes and noses.
