6-week review of buried-suture double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty

I had completely monolid eyes, so my eyes looked plain, and because I was opening my eyes using my forehead muscles, I got buried-suture double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty.

After hearing why I wanted surgery, most other places recommended ptosis correction, but here they said it was pseudoptosis, so I didn’t need ptosis correction and that buried-suture double eyelid surgery alone would improve it.. I liked that they seemed to recommend only what was really necessary.

I went for consultations last fall, and based on that time, the clinic didn’t seem to do much promotion, and the clinic interior, the director’s blog, and YouTube style didn’t feel polished at allㅋㅋㅋ But that difference from other clinics actually made it feel more realㅋㅋㅋㅋ More than anything, when I looked up other people’s review photos, their double eyelids were thin and natural, and that particular look was my style, so I finally chose Iwabaek Plastic Surgeryㅋㅋ

On the day of surgery, as soon as I left the clinic, the foreign-body sensation in my eyes was intense and tears kept coming nonstop, so I told them when I went in for disinfection the next dayㅠㅠ I was really worried they might just say it can normally happen and let it pass, but thankfully they handled the aftercare perfectlyㅠ

Since it was local anesthesia, it was scary and painful (the epicanthoplasty hurt so much ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I slightly regretted doing it during the surgery ㅠㅠㅠㅠ). But the results came out well, so I forgot all the painㅋㅋ The bruising was severe, but the swelling went down quickly, so everyone was surprisedㅋㅋㅋ Maybe everyone was just being niceㅋㅋ But honestly, I don’t think there was much swelling from the beginning, and it went down fast.

The bruising disappeared after a month, and looking natural was the most important thing to me, so I’m satisfied because it definitely looks natural!!
