Hoo hoo hoo, finally, I'm 6 months post-op. The hospital had said that after about 6 months, you can pretty much consider yourself recovered, and it feels like that timing was almost exactly right, like I'm all recovered now.
Now even when I wear clothes, the chest area feels lighter, and the overall volume has gone down too haha That distinctive protruding glandular part of gynecomastia has definitely been removed, so I find myself looking at my chest in the shower and flexing for no reason lol;;;
Of course, I still need to lose a lot more weight, but with dieting and surgery together, it feels like my body is somehow getting healthier too haha
I can really feel my quality of life improving a lot.
Choosing the director wasn't difficult either~ I had it done by someone who only does chest and gynecomastia procedures~ Since they mainly focus on chest surgery, it was really easy to narrow things down while looking at reviews and such~
I also consistently received aftercare at the hospital~
If there are any men like me who are worried because of their chest,
even just get checked with an ultrasound~ Once you're diagnosed there, it determines whether insurance applies~
Go for it~
