<This was the harvest area from Clinic 1; the written notes only applied to my body, so I erased them> This is a review from around late January to early February.
I’m 163 cm and 54-55 kg. My arms and legs are on the longer side, but I carry a lot of fat in my abdomen, so I wanted to get rid of some of it. My breasts are about an A cup, so I also wanted to make them a bit bigger, and that’s why I started looking into it.
1. MDS Gangnam branch:
I went on a Saturday, and there weren’t many people in the waiting room. It felt quiet, so I was able to have the consultation calmly.
They said they would remove fat with Harvest-Jet 2, and the harvest sites were 2 areas for the arms: the front armpit area and above the back of the elbow. For the abdomen, there were 2 areas at the front inguinal region, and for the love handles, 3 areas at the back near both ends of the buttocks and the tailbone. I was a bit worried because there were many harvest sites, but they said if I did something like FS suction, they could harvest through scars only at the navel and tailbone. But in my case, I think they said FS would be difficult because I have a lot of fat on my flanks or love handle area.
They said they could inject 270 cc into each breast, and if things like calcification or oil cysts developed, there was a guarantee system where they would break them up or remove them within about 2 years. I liked that!
The cost was around 4 million won with stem cells, and I think around 5.5 million won with FS. I think the consultant was the best. She explained things in detail and thoroughly, with no pressure at all. The doctor also examined me and measured the amount of fat with ultrasound, and I liked that they clearly said what wasn’t possible.
Looking at the comments, it seemed like many people were satisfied. I was worried about the many harvest sites, so I decided to look into it a bit more for now.
2. S 3OI:
This place is quite expensive, but it seemed so famous for stem-cell breast fat grafting that I went once.
The consultant started explaining from very basic principles, and since I already knew all of it, I wanted to say she didn’t need to explain that stuff lol. Then the director came in for the consultation, but I honestly couldn’t really tell what merit it had for the high price. They said they couldn’t guarantee size, and although I understand engraftment rate varies by person, it still felt a bit disappointing. The difference from other hospitals seemed to be that they manage things like food to help engraftment? They emphasized that it’s a handmade manual method, but I hope you look into what that means and judge for yourself haha. In my case, with harvesting from the abdomen + arms, they said they could inject 130-150 cc per breast (they said that was about the average injection amount for patients at this hospital). PRP breast fat grafting had about 40-70% engraftment and cost 6.6 million won, while stem cells had about 70-75% engraftment and cost around 13.5 million won. They felt my abdominal fat, checked only the front thighs, and said my abdominal-to-thigh fat amount was about 7:3, and that since I had a lot of abdominal fat, I could see an effect. I kept looking things up online, thinking maybe it might be worth the high price, but because fat grafting has such a low engraftment rate and varies so much from person to person, I think I started feeling more and more that it would be a waste to spend a large amount of money on that kind of probability.
