I had surgery in January, and now it’s been over a month.
Up until the one-month mark, when I washed under my chin or rubbed it while applying lotion, it felt painful, and I felt tightness when I lifted my chin. But now there’s no discomfort, and the scar is gradually fading as I apply ointment. The swelling has almost all gone down, and I think about 5-10% remains!
Whenever I took selfies, I always took them from a 45-degree angle from above so my double chin wouldn’t show, and I used Snow to heavily edit my chin. But when I took photos with my usual edits, my chin became way too small, so I removed all the chin-slimming effects. I’m so happy because my jawline has changed to look like how I used to edit it before.
Because I was always conscious of my double chin, my usual posture was always with my head sticking forward and my shoulders rounded forward too, so with turtle neck posture and rounded shoulders, my posture really didn’t look pretty. I used to feel so upset every time I looked in the mirror. It’s not easy, but even now I’m trying to straighten my shoulders, lengthen my neck, tuck my chin in, and maintain proper posture. I’m happy that even when I keep proper posture, I only have one chinㅋㅋㅋ
