I have a bit of sanpaku eyes, and I didn’t want to look tearful, so the doctor said he couldn’t overdo it and made it look natural. But after actually getting it done, I did think maybe I should have asked him to lower it a little more, and people around me say it turned out naturally and well haha As for smiling eyes, mine was done on the natural side, so it works well now, but until about 2 months, looking back, I think there was a slightly awkward feeling. Somehow I feel like if it had been overcorrected, smiling eyes wouldn’t have worked well? If you don’t have sanpaku eyes like me, or if the outer corners of your eyes are more upturned, I think you could lower them more. Since it wasn’t done with an incision, there were no stitches to remove, so it was convenient, and still, among the plastic surgeries I’ve had, it seems like this was the easiest and simplest surgery haha
