As soon as I turned twenty, I only heard that a friend's cousin had good results and recklessly went to a large hospital near Sinsa Station. There were so many people, and several floors of the building were all being used as a plastic surgery clinic, to the point where it seemed like you would need to carry around photos to know who was who. They said the head director was busy and asked how I felt about another doctor, then scheduled the consultation. At the time, I thought the large number of people waiting outside the door was proof of the hospital's skill, and I took a gamble. I did not have much fat in my eyes, so non-incisional double eyelid surgery would have been possible, but even though the doctor seemed not very confident, they did incisional double eyelid surgery, and also performed medial and lateral canthoplasty.
The result was that I was left with a lot of scarring and asymmetry, and the canthoplasty did not open the eyes at all and just returned to the original state. It turned out that the doctor's specialty was not even plastic surgery. I think I simply became a practice subject. In the end, I spent more money at another hospital for revision surgery, but because there was not much skin left, I am still not satisfied.
I regretted it so, so much. Never go to a large hospital recklessly without knowing anything. No one knows whether you are a practice subject or whether a ghost doctor is doing it. You have to put in a lot of legwork and online research.
