First of all, 18 years ago I only raised my nasal bridge with silicone. I did it when I was young, so I went around to consultations here and there holding my mom's hand, and I had it done based on my mom's decision without knowing anything lol At that time, among the other clinics we consulted at, some insisted on a nose that was too dramatic and did not suit my face, and the place where I had surgery said my nose was small, so I should not be greedy and so on~ And I heard things like silicone is still the easiest when removing it, so I think I ended up doing it because my mom said to make it natural. (It was so long ago that I do not remember well lol)
First, the reasons I want revision surgery are 1. These days, I feel like my nostrils show too much.. On top of that, the columella, I think it is called, feels like that angle is gradually going inward into my nose, so it looks so old-fashioned. Because I kept searching only about noses, I realized the nasolabial angle is a really important factor in looking refined.
2. And the starting point where the silicone was inserted (between the eyebrows) is too high, so it looks masculine. Because of that, my face also looks flatter, and the midface looks longer. If I get revision surgery, I want to lower the starting point.
3. I want to change the beoseon-shaped line to a straight-semi-beoseon or straight-semi line. Maybe because my nose has a rounded feeling, when I take photos, it feels like my nose is buried?.. ㅠㅠ
Now I want a dramatic and refined nose line. I have not completely decided to get revision surgery yet; I am still at the stage of looking into it. I am going to consultations, listening to expert opinions, and checking information every day in this community. My family says, why touch your nose again, if there is no problem you should not have surgery recklessly, and honestly that is true. Surgery is not something to take lightly- (I do not have inflammation or contracture) Even so, when I look in the mirror, my nose looks so old-fashioned and it also feels like it is gradually turning up(?), so yeah.
Ah, I do not want to raise my nasal bridge with septal cartilage. I have seen so much talk about absorption rates, and I have also seen so many people say harvesting the cartilage inside the nose that was originally providing support is not good later, so (personal opinion) I think it would be better to leave the support structure in place.
Putting autologous costal cartilage in the nasal bridge seems not great because there is a warping issue, then almost the last remaining material is silicone, but I wonder if it is okay to remove the silicone from the nasal bridge and then put silicone in again.. I also think about things like that. My head is about to explode..? What does everyone think?
