I had rhinoplasty 10 years ago using silicone and septal cartilage, but I injured my nose midway through, had the silicone removed, and now I have contracture.. So I’ve been to several places for revision surgery, and I liked about two of them. The surgical methods seem similar, but they’re a little different ㅠㅠ I’m trying to figure out which would be the most stable with the fewest side effects.
Clinic 1 : Remove the capsule zone, build up the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage to lower the nasal tip + slightly lift it so the nostrils don’t show much + fascia on the nasal bridge
Clinic 2 : Remove the capsule zone, build up the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage to lower the nasal tip + finish the nasal tip with ear cartilage
These are the two. They seem similar, but I’m not sure whether putting ear cartilage in the nasal tip is good or not... They say autologous costal cartilage and fascia don’t have side effects. Is that true? Since it’s revision surgery, the cost is a lot, and I’m also scared I might have to undergo surgery again ㅠㅠ.. Which one would be better?
