Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Has anyone had revision surgery 3 months after removing nasal silicone?

I had the silicone in my nasal bridge removed because it became inflamed, and they say the minimum time to let the nose rest is 3 months. 6 months feels too long, and I want to put silicone back in after 3 months. But after 3 months, how do you know whether all the inflammation in the nose has subsided and whether surgery is possible? It’s not like they can open up the nose to check. How do they confirm it and say, okay, let’s do the surgery? If it’s just been 3 months and the nose doesn’t hurt and all that... do they just go ahead with it?
