Reason for choosing the hospital(?) I'd been thinking about breast surgery for several years, but I only started going around for consultations last September. In reviews, people said there would be a hospital that just clicks with you, and for me that was Girin lol. Of course the other places were all good too, but there was always something I was unsure about one by one, whereas Girin had the strengths of the places I'd visited + zero things I was worried about. I liked that a larger hospital rather than a private clinic would generally have a better overall system, and at a big hospital like that, Director Song specializes in breasts, so I trusted it twice as much! I was looking for a director who only does breasts rather than one who does other surgeries along with breast surgery. Since he'd be doing only breast surgeries every time, I felt like he would have experience and some kind of hand skills that don't get rusty.. you know? lolololol And since I contacted the consultant most often, communication with the consultant was important too, and she was so, so kind, responded very quickly, and above all even the consultant was as knowledgeable and well-versed professionally as the director! Every time I had a question, I contacted her very often without feeling burdened (honestly often enough that I felt a little sorry haha), and she answered exactly what I was curious about without vague replies and even gave detailed additional explanations, so she was really the best. It felt like I had a reliable person on my side!!
From the day of surgery (day 1) to day 3, I had a pain-control injection attached! For me, it wasn't exactly painless, but it was an ambiguous pain somewhere between discomfort and actual pain lol. But that was right after surgery; after sleeping for about 2 hours, I came home, slurped down jajangmyeon, and slept. But I think I was probably alive because they gave me the pain-control injection... I think the medicine I took after meals also had painkillers, so maybe because of that, even after removing the pain-control injection during the day on day 3, I was okay until that evening and thought, huh? Is the pain over? But when I woke up, on the morning of day 4 I had pretty strong muscle soreness ㅠㅠ Since there's a long gap between the evening medicine and morning medicine, I think it hurt after waking up. But it wasn't to the point where I could pop up on my own; I could sort of slowly slide myself up? So just now I even went out, ate pork belly, and came back^^ They say if you do an inframammary incision, you can rest for 3 days and return to daily life! It is possible, you know? But I think that daily life means holiday daily life lol. I have an office job, so honestly it's not physically demanding, right? But if I imagine going to work today, even just sitting for a long time would probably make my back hurt,, I recommend resting for 5 days. Those who had an axillary incision probably need to rest more ㅠㅠ
There wasn't really anything uncomfortable. If I had to say something, on the day of surgery everything was already scheduled so it moved quickly, but before that, when I went for consultations or tests, the waiting time was a bit long. But would waiting for this exciting breast surgery really annoy anyone? I was only excited ㅎㅎㅎㅋㅋㅋ
