Today is exactly day 8 since my revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage!! I really searched for all sorts of things right up until the surgery, and since it was a revision surgery, I naturally had every worry imaginable..ㅜㅜ Even before the surgery, I was so nervous I couldn’t sleep and went in looking totally exhausted haha. While going under anesthesia, I said please take good care of me and fell asleep, and when I woke up, the surgery was over..ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, on the first day, they packed my nose with cotton, I went home, and just kept sleeping lol. But my face didn’t swell at all haha. On the second day, I went to the hospital for dressing and got an antibiotic injection. On the third day, only the area where the costal cartilage was taken hurt, and I was totally fine otherwise.. I couldn’t taste anything but still went around just fine lol The long-awaited fourth day when the cotton was removed. I got an antibiotic injection that day too! First of all, I was so happy that I could breathe!! I immediately went out again to eat something delicious haha. Even though I still had the splint on, the line was so pretty that people said it looked great even though they couldn’t really see it, and everyone was making a fuss lol Then a week later, I had the stitches removed, and it seriously didn’t hurt at all and felt refreshingㅜㅜ What was really touching was the aftercare.. They did the dressing, gave me antibiotic injections, did swelling laser treatment, and the director also consistently checked my progress togetherㅜㅜ They even gave me extra antibiotics as a backup. I had never experienced this kind of care before, so I was incredibly touched.
