First nose autologous costal cartilage review, bulbous nose + hump were really stressful!

I had been thinking about nose surgery for years, but once I actually decided to do it, I realized it was harder than expected to make the final decision. In my case, I had a bulbous nose and a hump, so I did not think simply raising the bridge would solve it. Since only one part of the nose was changing, I worried it might look too different, so I looked into everything and eventually decided to have the surgery. When I was researching hospitals, I looked for places that would actually examine my nose shape, not just make it higher. After a consultation, I decided on Director Choo Seong-cheol at D-Day. During the consultation, I talked about the style I wanted and, while looking at my nose, we discussed which materials would be best. The explanation was more detailed than I expected, and it helped me decide. I did not want the tip to be too pointed or the bridge to be raised too much. I wanted it to look natural but still defined. So while talking with the director, I decided on autologous costal cartilage. Since it was my first surgery, I initially wondered whether using autologous costal cartilage was too much, but if I was going to do it anyway, I wanted to get the nose shape stable and avoid needing something else, so after the consultation I felt there was no need to choose anything else and just went with autologous costal cartilage. Before, the tip looked a bit broad and the hump made the bridge line feel slightly uneven, but now those parts seem much more organized haha The bulbous-nose feeling is less noticeable too, and the tip and bridge line look natural, so the change is noticeable not just from the side but also from the front. The nose shape feels firm and stable, so so far it seems fine haha What I really noticed is that before, I think I used to pay a lot of attention to nose shadow, but these days even a light touch is enough, which is convenient. Since the shape is set, the contour comes out naturally even without making it dark, so makeup is definitely easier now. After surgery, I was curious about the swelling and how the nose shape would settle, so I paid a lot of attention to the early progress, and the hospital took good care of me until the end too. It was also nice that they responded kindly every time I went in for a progress check haha Since I used autologous costal cartilage, I do not have any particular regrets so far, and if anything, my nose feels firmly supported, so I think it was a good choice haha
