It's been 10 months since my autologous costal cartilage revision rhinoplasty!!!

Even though I had nose surgery, because it was implant-free, the height of the bridge didn't improve, so it was still low. From the front, the outline of the bridge was hard to see, and as time passed the tip seemed to sink and look uneven, which worried me. When I first went to GIFT, there was no wait, so I could go straight into the consultation at my scheduled time, and I liked that I could talk with the director for a long time. The doctor felt carefully about which parts needed improvement and what kind of nose shape would suit my face. Because my midface is a little long, he said it would be better not to make the starting point or the overall height too high, and I think it was the right call to follow his advice. It's now 10 months in and all the remaining swelling seems gone, and I'm happy that the bridge and tip have become appropriately, but clearly, higher. Even though it's high, the bridge isn't too thin, and the angle doesn't look lifted, so it doesn't look overly surgical, and people around me say it looks naturally pretty! Even a friend who had surgery a long time ago said she wants to redo hers at the same hospital and make it look exactly like mine, so it turned out very well lol Looking at the photos from before surgery, I really think I made the right decision. I hope it stays like this. At first, because it was revision nose surgery, I was very anxious and kept wondering whether I should just live with it or take the risk and have surgery. But Dr. Yoo Ki-hyun consulted with me very carefully, and I decided to go ahead. The result was so good that people around me kept asking which hospital I had surgery at, so I really think I chose the right place. I kept worrying that, like after my first surgery, the nose would settle lower once the swelling went down, but even now at the 10-month mark it has stayed at the height I wanted, and because it was done with costal cartilage, the tip hasn't dropped either! If you're thinking about surgery, I recommend at least getting a consultation from the doctor. He has great aesthetic sense and really reflects the patient's opinion.
