I failed nose surgery three times, and by the time I got to the fourth, I was no longer thinking about wanting to look prettier. All I could think was that I hoped this would really be the last one. At first, because of the hump, I had surgery with no implant plus septal cartilage, but a step formed. The second time, I tried to fix that with silicone plus donor rib cartilage. Even then I did not like the line, so for the third surgery I changed it completely to silicone plus autologous rib cartilage and made it more glamorous, but as time passed it started to look too sharp and artificial. The nasal tip was so sharp that the cartilage showed through, and from the side it gave a long, witch-like nose feeling. Even from the front, I was bothered that the nose looked crooked. After going through it three times, on the fourth time I looked at the doctor before I looked at the hospital. I searched mainly for doctors with a lot of revision cases and ended up going to Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at ID Plastic Surgery, and during the consultation I clearly said that I did not want a glamorous nose anymore. I wanted the columella to be soft, not too sharp, and the tip to be round and natural. This time I had silicone, donor rib cartilage, and ear cartilage used, and the hump and long-nose correction were done together. To get to the point, I think this time was a real success. The sharp tip I hated before changed into a softer shape, and the long-drooping feeling disappeared, so the side profile itself changed completely. The crooked look from the front was also corrected, so no angle bothers me anymore because of my nose. Above all, I really like the tip. Back when I had the third surgery, I thought anything glamorous would automatically look pretty, but now I realize that having some volume in the columella and tip while keeping it natural suits my face much better. Saying I had nose surgery four times makes me feel it really took a long time. T_T Still, I finally found the shape I wanted, and I love that I no longer have to look in the mirror and immediately search for what to fix first. This time is really the end. I think I will not be looking for revision rhinoplasty reviews anymore, and that makes me the happiest.
