I found this community a bit late, so this is a footwork review from places I visited while looking at other apps. Except for one place, all of them were one-person private clinics.
1. ㅇㄹㄷㅇ ㅅㄹ / Consultation fee: 10,000 won For a place I visited first, it was really good. I only found out later that this community has a lot of reviews for this clinic, but the apps I mentioned above didn’t have many reviews..? Still, from the few review photos there, it seemed like they did a nice, natural job, so I went. The consultation time was long, and even though I went knowing absolutely nothing, I think they explained things well. Consultation flow: staff manager > doctor > staff manager They were very confident that the staff manager was great at making things look natural to suit the face. But maybe because I was a bit young, the staff manager kept speaking informally, and I didn’t like that...
Estimate: ptosis correction, non-incisional double eyelid surgery, fat removal + rear/lower canthoplasty
I worry a lot about scars, so they said for the rear/lower canthoplasty, we could first do the double eyelid surgery and then see how it goes before deciding. Haha. I think the cost wasn’t too expensive either, but I didn’t hear the price for the rear/lower canthoplasty. Among the places I visited, this was the only one without a discount for review photos!! I wondered if that meant they were that confident.
The aftercare period is 2 years!
Also, I think they said this place only does local anesthesia, without sleep anesthesia.
2. ㅇㅎㅅ / Consultation fee: none I found some posts saying this place was good when I searched the cafe, and I liked the review photos too, so I went. I went early because I thought I might be late, but surgery ran long, so I waited quite a while. But well, there was nothing they could do about that. Still, after it finished, they came to me right away and gave me a consultation.
Estimate: incisional ptosis correction, double eyelid surgery, rear/lower canthoplasty As you can tell from reading this, the estimate for my eyes didn’t change much ㅠㅠ
They also looked at my design in detail and adjusted the line several times. But when they talked about rear/lower canthoplasty, they pulled on my eye not with a cotton swab but with that pad-like pencil thing...? I really hated that... I didn’t show it, but I think I was pretty disappointed then...
There was no talk about a deposit here, and with the review-photo discount it was cheaper than the places I consulted at.
Anesthesia: general first, then local
3. ㅍㅇ / Consultation fee: none Hmm.. even from the moment I entered the clinic, the atmosphere wasn’t really what I was looking for. Of course the doctor matters more than the clinic atmosphere haha. Here too I consulted in the order staff manager > doctor > staff manager, and the longest consultation was with the staff manager before seeing the doctor. I’m not sure about others, but most people seemed to show photos of the eyes they wanted... I wanted them to estimate the eyes that would suit me best, and I could feel the staff manager getting frustrated... After going here, I started bringing photos to other clinics too when consulting. The consultation with the doctor wasn’t bad either; they were kind. But it wasn’t a long consultation. When I said that because of scarring I wanted to try natural adhesion even if it loosened quickly, they respected my opinion.
Estimate: natural adhesion, fat rearrangement, ptosis correction, front upper canthoplasty, rear/lower canthoplasty
Now that I look at it, this place had the most items in the estimate. There was also a review-photo discount here, but it was still a bit on the expensive side.
4. ㅇㅇㅋㅌ / Consultation fee: none First they took a photo of my face with a camera, then I consulted with the staff manager, and then I saw the doctor. The doctor here was the one who cared most about my scar. At that point I think I got drawn in pretty strongly. The consultation was also long and thorough. When I showed the doctor the eye photos I wanted,

That was it. The price was just okay if you include the review-photo discount and the same-day deposit discount? I had a long consultation with the doctor, and a very long one with the staff manager too. I liked this place so much that I kept asking the staff manager lots of questions ㅠㅠ But they answered everything kindly. I was originally not going to leave a deposit, but they said it was 100% refundable, so I just put one down and left.

Just so you know, I booked here, and the staff manager said they don’t schedule many surgeries. They said at most 3 a day, and there were lots of reviews saying they were meticulous, plus the surgery time seemed fairly long, so it felt trustworthy. Also, it seemed like they wouldn’t overdo it ㅋㅋㅋ I’m a bit timid, so whatever I do, I prefer doing it carefully.. The doctor has 20 years of experience, apparently. I saw that on the app too.
5. ㅌㅌㅇ / Consultation fee: none When I was riding the elevator, a mother and daughter came in together. For some reason, that made me trust the place... This place also didn’t have that many app reviews, but it somehow felt like finding a hidden gem? So during the consultation, I said I didn’t want front canthoplasty, but they said front canthoplasty would be better.. Well, there was nothing I could do about that.

It was a bit expensive. They did have a review discount here too, but it was still expensive. And the doctor seemed to have a very firm personal standard of beauty?? Even so, I felt like they’d do a natural job. After hesitating for a long time, I only left a deposit and went home. It was 100% refundable. The consultation with the staff manager wasn’t bad either, but the surgery schedule seemed pretty packed..? Since there seemed to be a lot of surgeries in a day, that part wasn’t great...
6. ㄱㄹㅂ / Consultation fee: none This was the only large hospital I went to. I liked the before-and-after photos of surgeries done here so much that I showed other clinics those photos and said I wanted to look like that ㅋㅋㅋ But unfortunately, the doctor who did that eye was not there at all during the time I was visiting clinics ㅠㅠ It seemed like that doctor handled the more difficult eyes and such ㅠㅠㅠ Still, I figured there was nothing I could do and went. The first consultation seemed to be on a different floor. A large hospital was so fascinating. It was very spacious and looked luxurious ㅋㅋㅋ
Here, they showed example eye photos and had examples for how much the inner-out fold would be done, which I liked! When I showed them my photo, they said, “This eye would probably be about this level.” After waiting a bit, the doctor came in and the consultation was fine. As I said above, I didn’t want front canthoplasty, so they respected that too, saying if I didn’t like it, I could do front canthoplasty later haha.

But this place was so expensive....... Maybe because it was in Apgujeong..? Expensive... There was a review discount and a same-day deposit discount, but it was still expensive.... Still, when I look at the review photos of the doctor here, they all came out pretty nicely. The doctor also has a long career. Also, as part of the hospital care, there’s a separate stem cell research lab, so they also provide ampoules and such for that. I think the price included those care costs too.
Phew, that was hard. This is my first time writing a footwork review, so I don’t know if I wrote the needed information well. There are also some things I’m not sure should even be made public, and if anyone has questions, leave a comment ㅠㅠ For reference, I was the type to pursue a natural, pretty look, so if you want a glamorous style, I don’t think this will be very helpful...
